Rube Goldberg Machine Music Video

In this course, students will make a classroom-wide Rube Goldberg machine! A Rube Goldberg machine is a deliberately complex contraption in which a series of devices that perform simple tasks are linked together to produce a domino effect. Basically, one device triggers the next device in the sequence to perform the final task.

VEX Robotics Competition
July 17-21  8:30 am - 11:30 am 

In this course, students will prepare for a robotics competition using VEX robotic materials. Students will build a robot in groups of 3 to solve a given design challenge. On the final day, students will compete against each other in a friendly; but competitive environment!

Web Design/Blogging
July 17-21  8:30 am - 11:30 am 

In this course, students will plan and build a website based around a topic of their choice. They will be exposed to a variety of ways to build a website from scratch using a variety of free resources as well as retail products.

In this course students will develop key 3D modeling skills as they design their own 3D creations using 3D software that they can use at home. We will work with both large scale and small scale designs.

In this exciting course students will use basic engineering principles to build and design a variety of robots. Using the Robot Arena 2 software, students will design, test, and modify and battle with their robots.

In this course students will create a variety of projects using a combination of their camera and digital enhancement tools in Photoshop. Our projects will take us both in the studio as well as outside.

Build Your Own Fidget Spinner

Anyone can buy a fidget spinner, but imagine if you made your own? We will design and print the base of the spinner on a 3-D printer. Students will make precise measurements and install skateboard wheel bearings to create these assemblies.
