In this course students will develop key 3D modeling skills and concepts as they design their own 3D creations. They will be using problem solving skills and 3D software to design models to solve real life problems.

We will examine both large scale and small scale designs from things as large as a building to as small as a key chain. Students will design, modify an print mock-ups of their designs. Each student will have multiple printed items to take with them. 

 

Through challenging assignments and interactive projects, kids will sculpt and add texture to their own unique three dimensional models that they can modify and adjust and then send off for real 3D printing! Students will be able to see their designs come to life.

Requirements:

This class will have a maximum of 15 students due to supplies and must have at least 13 students for the course to run.
